Area Fire & Rescue Departments

The County of Athabasca provides fire protection to all County residents by placing County owned fire trucks in strategic locations throughout the County and entering into service agreements with the Town of Athabasca and the Village of Boyle.  All County district fire departments are manned by well trained dedicated volunteers.  These volunteer firefighters operate pumper trucks, tankers and rescue units stationed at the following locations:

• Athabasca Fire Department

• Baptiste Fire Department

• Boyle Fire/Rescue Department

• Caslan Fire/Rescue Department

• Colinton Fire/Rescue Department

• Grassland Fire/Rescue Department

• Richmond Park Fire Department

• Rochester Fire Department

• Wandering River Fire Department
