Meals on Wheels

This service is offered to senior citizens that are home bound and live within the Town of Athabasca or Village of Boyle.

Local volunteers deliver a hot, well-balanced meal at noon, Monday through Friday. Staff at Pleasant Valley Lodge in Athabasca and Wild Rose Villa in Boyle prepares the meals. Fees are charges on a per meal basis and billed monthly.

The frequency of meals is suited to the clients needs, whether it is 5 days a week or once a month.

Through this service, it is hoped that many seniors will be able to continue living independently within their own home.
